Challenge 1 – Value for Money

1. take a packet of MVM Rice Vermicelli and another brand “Brand X” of rice vermicelli of equal weight.

2. soak the MVM Rice Vermicelli and “Brand X” in water for half hour.

3. drain water from both brands and compare the volume. You will immediately notice that the higher density of MVM Rice Vermicelli gives you better volume and value for money.

Challenge 2 – Quality at your Fingertips

1. take a packet of MVM Rice Vermicelli and another brand “Brand X” of rice vermicelli.

2. with your fingers, press both packets with equal force.

3. you will notice that MVM Rice Vermicelli does not break as easily because it contains less impurities.

Challenge 3 – No Artificial Colouring

1. take a packet of MVM Rice Vermicelli and another brand “Brand X” of rice vermicelli.

2. compare the colour of both brands with the colour of a sample uncooked rice.

3. you will realise that MVM Rice Vermicelli closely resembles the colour of the uncooked rice due to the absence of artificial colouring.
